<b>Fundraiser to set up a TT Table and TT robot in a remote Govt School in Karnataka</b><br> <br> <b>Problem:</b><br> Table Tennis is an extremely exciting sport for people to play however we see that mostly the sport is played in cities and towns and hasn’t penetrated to the villages and Tribal folk in India. Training and Infrastructure is lacking as of now for Table Tennis in rural India.<br> <br> <b>Solution:</b><br> Providing TT Table to a government school along with a robot and basic equipment to a government school in a remote village in Karnataka. Certified Coach for training and also remote monitoring for tracking progress. Upon successful completion of this project, we can look at replicating the same model in other villages.<br> <br> <b>Organization description </b><br> RFTTI has been working on promoting the sport of Table Tennis in urban, rural and tribal places from past few years. We have supported various tournaments and training programs in the past and have been on a mission to get people more excited about the sport. Promoting Peace and solidarity through the sport of Table Tennis.<br> <br> <b>Desired Impact</b> <br> Sports is a school of life and can teach a lot of life lessons to students. The Objective is to use the above funds to set up a small TT facility within the government school campus identified in Vijayapura (Bijapur) district of Karnataka. Around 369 students go to this school. Interested students will be screened and trained. Get rural kids from that area to experience the sport and also participate in tournaments in the future. We also want to give them content and training support remotely from Bengaluru to make the learning effective and sustainable.<br> <br> <b>Appeal:</b><br> RFTTI has been trying to raise funds to set up a TT facility in GOVT HIGHER PRIMARY SCHOOL BILEBHAVI PIN CODE 586214 TQ MUDDEBIHAL DIST VIJAYAPUR. The school has an International Para TT Player and ITTF certified Coach as a science teacher and he has come forward to train the students in the sport of Table Tennis. He will be reporting regularly to RFTTI and the knowledge partner for Table Tennis Coaching will be Checkmate TT. Support the cause and help us promote Table Tennis in rural parts of Karnataka.
